Zakho Center for Kurdish Studies organized the 6th international conference entitled “Kurdish Folklore, Literature, Language, History, Society and Heritage” on May 5, 2022. The conference was conducted the in presence of Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Zhala S. Khatat, Representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Mr. Guhdar Shekho, Director of the Independent Administration of Zakho, along with numerous academic personnel across the Kurdistan Region.

At the beginning of the conference, the President of the University of Zakho delivered a speech and sincerely welcomed the guests. Additionally, the Representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research expressed her thorough gratitude to the University of Zakho and the organizers of the activity.

Noteworthy, the conference witnessed a participation of approximately ninety (90) studies related to the aforementioned conference topics. Eventually, the University of Zakho awarded a number of participants in the conference.
